Children’s Ministry

Sunday School & Worship Hours (9:30am – 11:45am)

Nursery (pre-walkers) & Toddlers (established walkers to age 3)

What to Expect
Our nursery and toddler room provide a safe, stimulating and Christ-centered environment for your children during the Sunday school and worship hours. One of our volunteers will extend a warm greeting, assist you with registering your child, and explain how we might contact you during the service in case you are needed.

Toddlers will participate in a wide variety of activities along with a short Bible lesson: singing, coloring, story time, snack time, prayer, and creative play!

What to Bring
Please include the following items when packing your child’s diaper bag:

  • 2 – 3 diapers
  • A change of clothing
  • Pacifier or other security item – if necessary
  • A bottle or sippy cup of milk, formula, juice or water – if needed
  • A note detailing any special needs, food allergies, etc.

We look forward to sharing the love of Jesus with your child!

Proverbs 22:6-“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (ESV)

Luke 18:16-17-“But Jesus called them to him, saying, ‘Let the children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.'” (ESV)

Jesus himself affirmed the importance of child-like faith. To nurture such faith at Trinity, we demonstrate the love of Christ while helping children build a strong foundation for a lifetime of spiritual growth. We make Biblical instruction for kids of all ages a priority.

Preschoolers (ages 4-5)

Our preschoolers participate in a short lesson during the Sunday School hour. They learn about the lives of various Biblical characters, Jesus’ ministry, and concepts such as God’s love for them, through music and movement with a lot of repetition.

Elementary School

Our elementary students are encouraged to develop their relationships with Christ through personal Bible Study and prayer. As a class, they explore and apply the truths of the Bible through reading, discussion, drama, games, and crafts.
